Smoked Salmon Dip

This is the worlds greatest smoked salmon dip.  Seriously.  I had a few requests for the recipe over the holidays, so here it is.

Ingredients
  • 12 ounces of chopped smoked salmon
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, warmed
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of mayo
  • 1 T hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 bunch of green onion, finely chopped
Directions
  1. Warm cream cheese, until slightly runny in microwave
  2. Mix cream cheese with chopped salmon
  3. Stir in hot sauce, sour cream, and mayo
  4. Add onions and garlic
  5. Stir well
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least several hours
  7. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, french bread, pretzel rods, or your favorite dip-delivery implement!

Man I hate Salmon but that dip looks friggin delicious!!!!
You know I met a peep on the river last year up from Illinois. He told me he makes an annual pilgrimage to get Salmon for his Christmas Salmon dip. He said his family craves it every holiday season. LOL I chalked him up as another oddity of the Salmon Season but perhaps there is something to this Salmon dip...lol!

B-
This dip is outstanding. Don't make it with skanky river kings though. Gotta be done with the good and fresh chrome bullets from the lake.

I'll bring you down some of my smoked goodness sometime, and you can make the dip with it.
